
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist, a brain surgeon, or even the class swot to tell you that if you take one apple, one kiwi fruit, one broccoli floret and half a pear, mix them together and drink, you’re already three and a half steps towards hitting your five-a-day goal. That’s just simple maths. You will need to use a juicer for the apple, pear and broccoli, before blending together with the kiwi, but it’s well worth it...
You will need (serves 2):
1 Pear
2 Apples
2 Broccoli Florets
2 Kiwi
What to do:
Cut the apples and pears into wedges, put them through the juicer and pour the juice into the blender. Juice the broccoli florets and add this juice to the blender as well. Cut the kiwis in half and scoop the flesh into the blender. Give everything a quick whizz. Serve in a tall glass. Enjoy.
